About me

My name is Alexander Kavteladze. I always liked the fantasy genre; I've read books and watched movies that can be classified under the umbrella of speculative fiction.

In 2007, I began writing a series of adventures about the main character and his friends during their senior year at high school. In 2008 and 2009 I updated that story, adding new characters, and changing the setting to the freshman and sophomore years at college.

 

In 2011, I wrote a draft that contained the overall story that eventually would shape into book 1 of the main series. I created new characters, and while their characterizations changed over the years, their roots go all the way back to 2011.

 

Then, in the fall of 2013, I seriously began writing an epic story set in a magical world. Since then, I developed the major plot line of the seven books of the main series, four books of the prequel series, several other books, and a lot of supplementary material. As of February 2024, I have already written the early drafts of books 2 and 3 of the main series, as well as an early draft of the first book of the prequel series.

I submitted my first book for Copyright Registration on December 30, 2023, and received the Copyright Registration on January 22, 2024.
